Every guide undergoes a thorough verification process to ensure they meet our high standards for integrity, safety and ethical practice. We provide comprehensive resources, training and ongoing support to maintain a professional, compassionate environment.

Do I need formal qualifications?
No. We value lived experience above credentials. You don't need to be a therapist. You need to have lived something meaningful and have something real to offer.
How long does the review take?
Most applications are reviewed within 3–5 business days. We review every application personally — we don't use automated filtering.
Is the joining fee refundable?
If your application is not approved, your membership fee is fully refunded. Once approved, the fee is non-refundable.
Can I set my own rates?
Yes. You set your own session prices. We recommend at least $80/hr to reflect the value of your experience, but the minimum is $40.
How do I get paid?
Via Stripe Connect — you connect your bank account and receive direct deposits within 2 business days of each session.
Can I do sessions via Zoom?
Yes. Zoom links are generated automatically for every booking. You can also offer phone or in-person sessions.
